Sending Pix Messages from iPhone!!!

Cheryl & I discovered how to send pix messages to someone's cell phone from our iPhones today! As some of you may know, you can't send picture texts from the iPhone, but we found a way around it!!!

You email your friend the picture using their cell phone number & provider's server address as their email address. For example:

Alltel = xxxxxxxxxx@message.alltel.com
AT&T = xxxxxxxxxx@mms.att.net
Boost Mobile = xxxxxxxxxx@myboostmobile.com
Cingular (AT&T) = xxxxxxxxxx@mms.mycingular.com
Einstein PCS = xxxxxxxxxx@einsteinmms.com
Sprint = xxxxxxxxxx@messaging.sprintpcs.com
T-Mobile = xxxxxxxxxx@tmomail.net
US Cellular = xxxxxxxxxx@mms.uscc.net
Verizon Wireless = xxxxxxxxxx@vzwpix.com
Virgin Mobile = xxxxxxxxxx@vmobl.com

(the X's are where you insert their area code & phone number)

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies Ever!

So recently I have become obsessed with Paradise Bakery's Chocolate Chip cookies. I made this recipe today, and they are very close!

Super Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies
*4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
*2 teaspoons baking soda
*2 cups butter, softened (I used Blue Bonnet)
*1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
*1/2 cup white sugar
*2 (3.4 ounce) packages instant vanilla pudding mix
*4 eggs
*2 teaspoons vanilla extract
*4 cups semisweet baking chocolate, chopped into small chunks

Makes 4 Dozen Cookies - very large batch!

DIRECTIONS
1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Sift together the
flour and baking soda, set aside.
2.In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white
sugar. Beat in the instant pudding mix until blended. Stir in the eggs and vanilla.
Blend in the flour mixture. Finally, stir in the chocolate chunks. Let stand for 10 min. or so for chocolate to soak up the butter.
Drop cookies by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
3.Bake for 10 minutes in the preheated oven.

They stay super soft with the pudding mix in there & the chocolate doesn't get all hard & gross. I love them!

Happy 2008!

I know it's already 1/2 way through February, but it still feels like the year just began. We had a wonderful Christmas with both of our parents, Jon's paternal grandparents, and Heather's maternal grandparents. It was Jackson's very first Christmas so he was quite spoiled!

Mike also got a chance to see his daughter, Rebekah, who he hadn't seen since she was 7 and her 3 kids. It's been really nice to have a larger family!

Jackson had his first birthday in January! It is hard to believe he's a toddler now. We had a party for him at our house with several of our friends & family. It was fun to see him playing with his cousins!

As most of you know, the Super Bowl was in Phoenix this year. It was an exciting time, but I think the highlight of the week for Jon was meeting Emmet Smith, the NFL's all-time leading rusher! It was also the week of the FBR Open golf tournament, and Jeanne was nice enough to give us passes to her company's sky box for the day. We enjoyed the sunshine, golf, & tasty beverages with good friends!
